To arrange a visit, please contact the school office at a time that suits you and your family.
Reception Admissions
We offer 20 places each year for new entrants to our Reception Class.
All admissions to the school are managed by Kent County Council (KCC).
When the number of applications exceeds available places, the following oversubscription criteria are applied:
- Looked After Children (and previously looked after children)
- Siblings already attending the school
- Health and Special Access Needs
- Distance from the school
Further details about oversubscription criteria are available on the KCC Admissions website.
You can also apply for a school place online through the same KCC webpage.
Registering Your Interest
If you would like to register your interest in our school, please contact the school office. We will take your contact details and keep them on file.
Please note that registering your interest does not give priority when places are allocated by the Local Authority.
In-Year Admissions
If your child is already in school or you have recently moved to the area and are looking for a school place, you will need to complete an In-Year Casual Admissions Form (IYCAF).
These forms are available:
- From our school office
- From the KCC Primary Admissions Team
- Or can be downloaded from the KCC Admissions website
Appeals
If your child is refused a place, you have a statutory right of appeal to an independent appeal panel.
Eythorne Elvington Community Primary School uses the services of Kent County Council to arrange appeal hearings.
