Each academic year, a democratic selection process is held in school to elect two representatives for the School Council from each class. They are chosen by their peers, after outlining how they could make a difference to the school and their vision for the year ahead.
After the elections have taken place, the School Council meet twice each term week to share any issues and views from their classmates, discuss events they wish to hold, and implement whole school initiatives.
This year, the school council have decided to focus on making our school more eco-friendly. Already, in partnership with Miss Richardson and the eco warriors in each class, they have begun looking into alternative ways to dispose of our paper, plastic and food waste.
This is our fantastic School Council for this year!
