Voyager class have been investigating odd and even number by pairing odd socks!!!
We learnt to spot patterns and to know if ANY number is odd or even, no matter how big – test us!

Voyager class created art in the style of Roy Lichtenstein using primary colours only to make sound effects for our superheroes!

Changes within living memory
Voyager class were lucky enough to have a visit from Bob – Bob grew up in the 1950’s and the children prepared lots of questions to ask him about toys from the past. We found out so much, thank you Bob!

Superhero art
To link with oiur learning about Traction Man we created some superhero skylines and added some superheroes that you might recognise. We had to shade, cut and stick and follow instructions.

Toy day
In Voyager we fully immersed ourselves in the world of toys.
We were historians by exploring the differences between old and new toys, whilst also being scientists by investigating the materials our toys were made of.
We explored where different toys came from and what games children around the world might play.
We wrote about our favourite toy and how to play with it. We also considered others and thought about how to play with other people’s toys.
Action hero day
Voyager class had an action figure morning linked to our work on Traction Man. We brought in our own action figures and made Top Trumps cards about them
